I'd like to close this issue as "cannot reproduce".

Issue: https://bugs.openjdk.java.net/browse/JDK-8160380

The original issue was reported 2+ years ago and was
looking for someone to examine the core files to see
if a regression could be identified.

The core files were not preserved, so they can not be examined.

Local test runs and mach5 test runs were done for the full set of
test/jdk/com/sun/jdi tests in context. No failures have been
replicated and the GenericsTest in particular runs in under 2
seconds. There is nothing specific in the test itself that
is likely to have a scaling issue.
